i never said software unlock. i dont want yell0wsnow. i want a hardware unlock, which many arent ready for 3.0 for some reason... this is why it is in the 3.0 area. youre the one saying yellowsnow. i dont want to need to worry about another 2.2->2.2.1 issue in the next 3.0 area.

If you posted [yellowsn0w] section & you give it a title that says [unlock a 3.0] & then on the opening post you ask about hardware unlock refer to sim unlock & talk about emailing someone it starts to get a bit confusing.

Short answer to hardware is that it involves some very technical desoldering/removing the BaseBand (SGOLD) Chip that most people couldn't do.
