I have one stupid question. All the time it's been talked about at&t sim that comes with iphone. It is also doable for 1.1.2 UK phones with O2 cards inside, right?
I just get the IMSI from the O2 and use it along with IMSI,ICCID & Ki of my Sim and it should work?

I tried the SIM Editor application within CAS Studio (using the Duolabs CAS 3 USB reader/writer).

CAS Studio extracts the correct ICC and IMSI from the SIM and then a field called Key KC, which is made of 18 exadecimal digits (9 bytes).

Would it be the same as Ki?

Funny it took CAS Studio less than a second to retrieve the info from my SIM (very old V1), including the mysterious Key KC. Makes me think it is probably not Ki, but what would it be then?

Any thoughts anyone?

i tried to find KI number of my sim but i failed,
with this error using Woron What should i do to get KI number

With Regards to the Sim Max 12 in 1 sim card and writer/ does this work because have seen claims that it does?

i created .HEX files but how can i write it,which software whould i use i have SIM max 6 in 1.

For those of you with a serially connected Infinity USB Phoenix reader (Phoenix, not Unlimited), you may know by now that Woron Scan does not run to completion when extracting Ki.

I could not try it with a serial to USB converter, but with an RS-232 connection I tried all possible (reasonable) combinations of clock frequency and communication speed on Phoenix mode and Woron Scan: it just won't work. In the best case I keep getting a communication error every few minutes. In the worst cases every few seconds.

The great news is Sim Scan V. 2.01 works great with a serially connected Infinity USB Phoenix.

I set the Phoenix mode clock at 6 MHz on the reader, chose the 16457bps - 6.12 MHz combination on Sim Scan and started the attack.

30,000 or so flawless cycles later my V1 SIM's Ki was no longer a mystery.

Now I only need to buy a Silvercard and turn my black shiny paperweight into a real iPhone.

I finally got my new OTB 1.1.2 (week 47) iPhone up and running with my new SuperSim thanks to this guide.

However, I would like to add that I lost two nights of sleep trying to figure what I did wrong in the first place.

I finally realized that I needed to upgrade to 1.1.2 after downgrading to 1.1.1.

The SuperSIM/iPhone activation would not work with 1.1.1 firmware
However it worked just fine after re-upgrading to 1.1.2.

It would be helpful to others if this fact is stated in the guide.
