Default [1.1.3] (4.03.13_G) *Sim Solutions for latest baseband

    Hi guys,

I'd like to know if anyone has tested any *sim solution on latest baseband. This includes:
    1) 1.1.3OTB iPhones
    2) 1.1.2OTB iPhones who have been mistakenly updated to 1.1.3 in the past without using the newly released soft-upgrade package

As far as I know, next-sim.ch shop is going to produce Next Sim 3, which should work. I remember I asked about when they will release NextSim 3, for some reason they say it will take time before they do that..

Anyhow, if there are any other sim solutions that works on 4.03.13_G please share with us.

    Thanks

I did tried NEXT SIM V4 on an 1.1.2 OTB updated to 1.1.3 & jailbreakd.
When the phone was on 1.1.2 OS w/ 04.02.13_G, any attempt to insert the next sim give an error saying to insert a correct SIM.
After update to 1.1.3 &jaibrok no error message but I get no Carrier...It just stay like that. There is no message like "NO SERVICE"
This is my experience with 1.1.3 & NEXT SIM.

Did you update through iTunes to 1.1.3 ? or you just used soft-update (the new jailbreak) ? If you have never updated to 1.1.3 using iTunes then you probably still have the old baseband 4.02.13_G, I need to know whether *sim works on the *new* baseband 4.03.13_G not 4.02.13_G, but thanks anyway ..

the phone is not mine. The customer did an update to 1.1.3 by itunes and bricked his phone (was a 1.1.2 OTB) I did a restore to 1.1.2 and jailbreak. Then I did a new IBRIK update Jaiblreak. After that I did tried with nextsim v4 and could not get carrier.
Now the phone have 1.1.3 OS and 4.03.13_G BB

To be honest, I learned not to belive what is written here w/o any proof! I also tried few munutes ago an X-SIM on the same phone...same result.

    OK,
I have the same situation as described by Mindrunner,
an 1.1.2OTB iPhone mistakenly updated to 1.1.3, then downgraded to 1.1.1 jailbroken and then performed 1.1.3 softupdate (baseband 4.03.13_G).

I can confirm that StealthSim and SuperSim does not work for baseband 4.03.13_G,
behavior is exactly the same in both cases, and is as described by Mindrunner.

As far as my understanding goes, with SuperSim method we can work something out, if someone like ozbimmer or Vladimir_CDI would compile and share new Flash&EEPROM files made especially for baseband 4.03.13_G.

Also, I'd like to hear what Sassha think about this, since he might have contacts of ozbimmer and/or Vladimir_CDI.

I'm interested in the solution for SuperSim method since I have all the hardware for it.

BTW: I have 1.1.2OTB + SuperSim fully functional

ah its ok guys, thanks very much for your help, I guess then you are also looking for *sim solutions for your 4.03.13 iphones.. Are you willing to buy new *sims for these phones ? I'm looking in eBay and found number of *sims that claim to work on 1.1.3OTB (baseband 4.03.13_G) I might get one, but not soon, I'm also waiting for Next Sim 3

There is Next Sim V6 which claims to work on 1.1.3OTB, anyhow, I hope someone who has a programmable turbosim confirm that turbosim works (or doesn't) on his iphone

rippa, i think you have a chance to get your supersim to work on the 4.03.03_G iphone, if you ever could get it to work, please tell us how you did

    Yeah, I hope so,
still trying, but no luck as of now.
As I can understand there are 2 ways to get SuperSim working with new baseband:
downgrade baseband to 04.02.13_G (which is not currently possible with BL 4.6 ) or wait for someone to release new Flash&EEPROM files for baseband 4.03.13_G.

As soon as I find the way, I'll post it with details.

"to release new Flash&EEPROM files for baseband 4.03.13_G", what do you need? Dou you need extract informations from the BB file upgrade or read that info directly from the eeprom?

You guys do know that the 1.1.3 Nate update has a pre-patched lockdown which is not meant to work with 4.03.13_G baseband. At this time, there is no patched lockdown. Once there is, you can be sure the new baseband will work.
