What about creating a code.google project to maintain Applesaft?
(anyone knows what that name means?)?
This would not only foster cooperation but also help in obtaining information on new/changed baseband processing.

We can get not only an update to Applesaft, but also a native app/GUI to program it, some documentation and similar stuff.

Can someone with 1.1.2 and *SIM and somene with 1.1.3 (with latest baseband, updated via Itunes or OTB) run the following?
From SSH (or terminal) issue these commands:

    rm /dev/console
    mknod /dev/console c 4 0
    kill -USR1 `ps ax|grep omm|grep ys|xargs|cut -d ' ' -f 1`
    kill -HUP `ps ax|grep omm|grep ys|xargs|cut -d ' ' -f 1`

    How to stop the log.

    rm /dev/console
    mknod /dev/console c 1 0
    kill -USR1 `ps ax|grep omm|grep ys|xargs|cut -d ' ' -f 1`
Leave it running for some little time and then use the part "Stop the log"

This logs what the baseband does, might be usefull to check how the iPhone works with checking the ICCID of the sim card.

    Thanks,
    Ka.

I already run the script, the result for bb 4.01.13_G and 4.02.13_G are same.
    Here is the logs:
    Code:
    1271068 recv[call]: +XSIM: 2
    1271070 send[call]: at+cpin?
    1271076 recv[call]: +CPIN: READY
    1271078 recv[call]: OK

    1272159 recv[call]: 510011911xxxxxx
    1272160 recv[call]: OK
    1272162 send[call]: at+xsimstate=1
    1272169 recv[call]: +XSIM: 2
    1272172 recv[call]: +XLOCK: "PN",1,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0
    1272173 recv[call]: OK
    1272175 send[call]: at+ccid
    1272182 recv[call]: +CCID: 89014103113714zzzzzz
    1272184 recv[call]: OK
1272184 sim: This is a new SIM
    1272186 send[call]: at+xpincnt
    1272193 recv[call]: +XPINCNT: 3,3,10,10
    1272195 recv[call]: OK
    1272197 send[call]: at+CLCK="FD",2
    1272205 recv[call]: +CLCK: 0
    1272206 recv[call]: OK
    1272209 send[call]: at+cimi
    1272216 recv[call]: 510011911xxxxxx
    1272217 recv[call]: OK
This the logs right after I insert the simcard.
It's appear that iPhone only access CCID one time.

Later I will try with bb 4.03.13_G.

I'm trying to do the same, modem 04.03.13_G with firmware 1.1.1, but i keep getting this error:
    kill: not enough arguments

Isn't it possible on firmware 1.1.1?

    1) 1.1.3OTB iPhones

As far as I know, next-sim.ch shop is going to produce Next Sim 3, which should work. I remember I asked about when they will release NextSim 3, for some reason they say it will take time before they do that..

Anyhow, if there are any other sim solutions that works on 4.03.13_G please share with us.

    Thanks
What about this? Those guys pretend to unlock 1.1.3 OTB phones with a sim proxy solution. Does anybody have any experience with this solution, or it it sh*t?

    Cheers!

You didn't strip anything from the logs on 4.2.13, right?

Did you log anything after 881865?

    Keep you posted!
