... I think it happened because, after first attempt, the phone got stucked while rebooting (yes: I forgot to re-enable CommCenter ) so I restored 1.1.2 and re-started from scratch (yes: I did panic and forgot to follow mquest's instruction on how to get out from that situation )

From then on, I'm getting this error and can't connect via Terminal anymore.

    CyberDuck also prompts :

    "Host key mismatch: 10.0.1.4
The host key supplied is: 6f:75:07:ae:6c:d6:88:80:22:98:a5:86:5b:eb:dd:bd
Do you want to allow the host access?"

    but, then, it does connect.

    Thank you, iMaso!

    hello

    first thanks for the tut.

i made the whole tutorial and in the end the second (my) sim was right connected with turbo sim. i did the reboot but then it shows SIM locked.

it seems i must have a mistake. terminal showed always ok in the end:

    # launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    # turbo-info
    initializing modem
    AT+CPMS="SM","SM"
    ERROR
    modem initiated
    OK. No Error
    # turbo-app /private/var/root/applesaft.trb
    SRC /private/var/root/applesaft.trb
    SIZE 2208
    initializing modem
    ATV1
    ERROR
    modem initiated
    OK. No Error
    # launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    # exit
    Connection to 192.168.1.36 closed.

    20. on your iPhone go to Settings -> Phone -> SIM Applications -> Apple Saft -> Set -> Accept

what does this step exactly do ? because i can't find the "sim application" if i m on my iphone, but if i'm on a simple nokia phone i'll find that menu and i *could* set the accept BUT does this option write something on the iphone or just on the turbosim? if it writes something to the sim only, i could confirm this step with another phone and then.. maybe the iphone works ..

I am on step 3, Preparing and Installing the Turbosim. I am following the windows instructions. When i try to connect with WinSCP using IP address as host name root as user and alpine as password I keep getting the message that the connection has been refused, how do i solve this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi all,

I have been read thru all replies on this post to find the answer to my problem, and I see a lot of replies that having the same problem that I do, please help if anyone know the answer or has experience on it and fix it. The problem is:

I am stuck on 3.17! (Windows)

When entering "turbo-app /private/var/root/applesaft.trb " in Terminal it keeps returning the following:

    SRC /private/var/root/applesaft.trb
    SIZE 2208
    initializing modem
    modem initiated
    ERROR: Bad File

Even thought, I appled 0755 rights to the turbo apps when I copied over the iPhone folder /bin.

Please help. Thank you in advance
