So you are telling that you just dismissed the BAD FILE error, rebooted your phone and applesaft would work on your phone either way?

i do not know if applesaft works or not,but after it said BAD FILE i simply came to next steps and afer finish all steps my phone works with t-mobile usa.

yes just tape original sim (which came with your cellphone) with turbo sim and also when you finish all tutorial you tape your personal sim with turbo sim.just put them together and tape it (do not tape gold contacts)

I think I'm in big trouble! I restarted the phone before reloading the commcenter, now I can't get the restore mode without the cable plugged in and PC can't recognize the iphone! Anyone can help me?!

Hey, it worked.... man, I got really scared because there are some issues with TurboSIM and Simcard n3 especially from the german carrier T-Mobile, Callmobile etc...(D1)..

But then last night I just gave it a try and taped it ... and voila ! Its working !!!
SO 1.1.2 OTB, TurboSIM, Callmobile carrier is WORKING !!!

Ok let´s see if i understand after reading all the posts here.
The tut is for NEW not jailbrake iphones. But what if my iphone is already out of jail and the only thing not working is the phone. Right now, I can use all the iphone functions (internet, ipods, etc ) but cannot received or place calls (because of the firmware 04.02.13_G ).

If I want to use this Next SIM V3 card (turbosim clon) that I´ve already bought on ebay......Do I still need to do all the steps on the tutorial or can I go directly and put this sim card with my orange sim card (together with scotch tape) to my iphone and start iworld?


Perhaps iMaso or someone has a good advise.

if your phone is already jailbroken and activated running 1.1.2, you can of course choose whatever xxxSIM you like, if you already own a preprogrammed one of which the producers and/or sellers promise that you can use any SIM you like with it, just go ahead and give it a try, as you most likely wont have to execute any commands and/or files on your phone. if it works, it works. my tutorial only describes what one has to do when he gets a us-iphone 1.1.2 otb and wants to use it fully functional with a turbosim.

hello, I am grateful and I thank YOU very much for confirming. there are obviously many glitches which can occur (that BAD FILE thing and that CABLE COMMUNICATION error thing e.g.), about which many people keep asking, so it is always a relief when somebody else tells that it all worked out without a flaw (as it did for me, except for the turbo-info part, see thread for more).

ps: if I knew how to sticky threads, i would with this, but I believe only mods and admins can....?! so many people already read and/or responsed to this thread..... I am proud. nevertheless, it aint only my achievement, but one of the whole community around here and elsewhere.
