ok, sorry, didnt use the search wisely, now i found that people had the same problem, well, i tried realigning the turbo sim with no luck, the good thing was that i had another turbo sim that worked well, and now i have to figure out a way to get the other one to work for my mom's phone.... but so far i got one iphone 1.1.2 working well with turbosim.

hi, yeah, usually lining up the SIM with the TurboSIM is the only issue to be solved that this error wont occur. Glad you did it.

I can not connect to my iPhone although I am using a static ip, I get the following message I/O error: connection failed, the connect () operation has timed out
I tried the suggestion of dougan which is to switch the Settings -- WiFi -- Network -- DHCP
I was able to see the iPhone on the network but still could not connect. Any other way to connect with the iphone and copy the the turbosim program to the turbosim card?
Please let me know if there is anything to do to remedy that would appreciate it.

Let's see if you can help me.

While I was following the tutorial, I made a mistake on step 15, because I put a non AT&T card with the turbosim.

Since it didn't work, I restored and jailbreak again to 1.1.2 and start again the process, now with the AT&T card.

Now, after Step 20, I have 2 Apple Safts, I tried with both, but the phone doesn't recognise the sim, it says "No Sim".

So I don't know if maybe there's a problem with the sim, since is an old one, or maybe is not well adapted, or I have to do something else to mend it.

Can someone help me?

Sorry, I forget to tell, that is the second phone I unlock using this methode, The first one was fine, and I did the second one with the same AT&T card than the first one.

I am using 7.5 but the problem is still the same, Have done alot of things that apple recomend to do if I get the problem, but nothing seams to work, Dont know if using another computer wuld do it, havent tryed that, there must be something else I culd do? someone must have got the problem and solved it?

Both of these links work fine.... I just checked them. If you read the original instructions carefully.... see that iMaso has said to remove the "_" from the "Rapid_Share" link.

example:

www.raped_share.com - incorrect

www.rapedshare.com - correct

Note: I had to use "RAPEDSHARE" in the example because RAPID_SHARE (without the underscore) looks like *********

Gonzoies...

I would suggest trying a different computer and/or a different network. I connected on the 3rd or 4th try.... and it shouldn't be giving you so much difficulty.

you may also want to re-download Cyberduck and re-install. If that is still not working.... go through the entire process again to give yourself a "Clean Slate".

ex: re-install 1.1.1, re-download all the necessary utilities/applications, and walk through iMaso's tutorial with a fine-tooth-comb.
