    I understand this happened because I didn't give a static IP address to my iphone, but I have no idea how to do that...

    I am using a powerbook G4, can anybody explain me how to do it ?

    Hi,

    Hope someone can help me out. I have followed the guide but when i get to step 3.11 restart after moving disabled file the phone freezes with the apple icon and does nothing.

    Please can someone help cause i followed all the steps.

    and now i can't even restore it with Itunes... please tell me it's not bricked

    read the tutorial

    11. restart your iPhone, it will show the Apple logo and appear as if it was stuck/hung during you the reboot, but you may just proceed further on

    that helps?

    on your iphone, after your phone acquires its IP address through DHCP, change the mode from DHCP to Static

    I am almost done, i have done all steps, and everything has gone smoothly. But when i come to step 22 i have a problem. Under Sim Applications i only have one button saying SETUP. In the guide it says:

    22. on your iPhone go to Settings -> Phone -> SIM Applications -> Apple Saft -> Set

    CAn anyne help me?

    Ive done that but it is frozen with the apple and the little ring just under it. The phone wont do nothing and i cant access it.

    Yes, but just keep following the guide, you do not need to access the phone yet. Just follow the guide, do not pay attention to that it seems frozen.

    Can someone please help me with my SIM Application problem. Under SIM Application i only have a setup button, no Apple Saft like it says in the tutorial under STEP 22

    I am trying to continue but it says connect to the iphone using putty but it wont cause it is frozen after restart.
