Take the two sims (stealthsim and carrier sim) put them together and run a small piece of tap along the top of them and fold it down along the outsides (nothing in between them), then put the sims in to the tray.

@TyeWOnAwn: Could it be possible for you, to post a picture of your stealthSim after having aranged the tape? Would most probably be a big help for many StealthSim users outside there.

    Thanks in advance!

This is what I did with my card. Also I needed to use a dremel to make my sim thinner, (it was impossible to fit the sim and the sticker inside the iphone). It doesn't looks professional but it works.

What Superg did will work too. I don't want to take my sim out to take a picture...you never know what might happen.

Looking at the pic superG posted, I put the tape along the top of the sim, not the sides and bottom. It's a small piece that starts at the top of the pre-cut angle and stops where you cut the notch out for the chip. It's a really small piece just enough the hold them from slipping apart.

    Does that make sense?

    Saint355,

I've got one for you! I was waiting for a friend today (at the Apple Store ), and he was running late, so I decided to pass the time in a bar next door.

Outside I had full signal, inside I had about 3 bars. When I leaned forward onto the bar, I had "no service" when I leaned back in the chair I had 3 bars again. I got quite annoying when I was playing BlackJack and the damned "no service" box kept popping up. I wanted to lean on the bar! Who sits back on a bar stool?!?!?!

I also read something today about people in the UK complaining about poor signal strengths and someone alluded that is was a baseband issue. Maybe this is what causes some of the 1.1.2 otb's to "flake out" from time to time with poor signal strength. Someone needs to come up with a way to boost the internal antennas gain. I'm sure it can be done with programming. Most companies lower it to save battery time. I say we crank it up!!!!!!!! It also could be that it's surrounded by metal.

Hey that'd be great man! If we can crank up the antenna strength a bit then maybe we won't have this annoying problem anymore. I also read that you said it was a baseband issue. What if we downgrade the baseband? Will that make a difference at all? Or can the baseband not be downgraded since we're on OTB. But yea, I really hope someone can whip up together an app that increaes antenna strength. I'd even be willing to donate to the cause. Good find TyeWOnAwn.
