And again im asking, what's the difference? Basically they are just ports, USB can perform the same things as serial COM port right?

i ordered a simple USB reader/writer as i know of others using them to copy/write sim cards in the past with success (the one i bought was 5 USD iirc off ebay) - dont know what if any would be the difference between USB and Serial. please correct me if i am wrong.

Anyway, is it sure now that it works? I'll go buy that SIM reader tomorrow if it's true! Also about Magic SIM, why Magic SIM? Why doesn't anything else work? Is it something to sell MagicSIM, or is it because REALLY others don't work, and what makes them different?

The baud rates are different, but have a try with USB and if you get it working then thats great but if it doesn't work then it doesn't work, as simple as that. LOL. Also whenever I have referred to SERIAL I meant a SERIAL PORT CONNECTION, so its hardware and not software.

Yes you do have to jailbreak, it works exactly like Turbo sim.

yes you have to cut your card, more so than a turbosim or stealth sim
