[1.1.2 OTB] Sim cloning

Hi there

Due to some problems regarding the silver cards in my country it was really difficult to get them .
so i am trying to recheck with you agine about some worries i do have .

I was motivated by Sassha famous thread
Which has many constrains to have a successful cloning

1- having a V1 provider sim and make sure of that.(Done)
2- having the original AT&T SIM card (Done)
3- extract Ki , extract ICCD , extract ICCID from both of them (Lets say it's done)
4- configure the Silvercard's Eeprom with "group of files and the above data" (not done yet )

And here are the questions,

Did any body made it, and smoothly worked fine with 1.1.2 OTB Iphone ?

Did it worth the hassle to buy it online & smuggle it with some one to here?

Or should I seek the Chinese *sim solution and drop the whole idea??? (BTW it costs here 100$++).

I confirmed its work and the best method for who had Ki number.

For Chinese SIM have many problem ( i found stuck in slot and slot eject mechanism damage ) and so expensive, not gaurantee, not sure to upgrade.

My other quistion is , is thear any issues with using the cloned sim with any other mobile than the iphone ??

Hi,

Even I am trying out SIM cloning. Got a Chinese SIM Reader/Writer but the DRIVER CD is CHINESE. I can just see boxes in the filename and the Read Me. I dont even Know how to get the KI no. from SIM, what do I select from "Card Reader" menu. PC SC Card, Phoenix Card or A38 Simulator ?

Please HELPPP

well, I have a clone for my sim and it is working fine with all mobiles I tried. I did not use it in my iPhone, as i have the original sim in it and the clone is in my old mobile.

I'm wondering about this too...I have a clone of my SIM which I would rather use than my original SIM.

Do you guys made the cloning using AT&T IMSI & ICCD info over your original provider sim data
Or you just cloned your sim ??

To get the SilverCard to work on your iPhone you do not need the AT&T SIM card's Ki, just the one for your own provider's card.

Trying to extract the Ki from your iPhone's original AT&T SIM card will not succeed and may result in a blocked SIM, as it is not a V1.

I have just a cloned SIM of my regular SIM...I want to use it with a NEXT Sim so I don't have to cut up my original SIM and so I can just leave it in the iphone and use my regular SIM with my other phone when I'm not using the iPhone.
