Exclamation [1.1.2 OTB][problem] SMS and Texts work intermittently

Hi Guys, I need some help. (please direct me to the correct forum if this has already been answered, but i could not for the life of me find an answer)

I'll start from the beginning. I bought a 1.1.2 OTB iphone (US) along with a "Turbosim" or "NextSim" cloning solution. I am not sure which one it is exactly, but it says "China 3GPP" on the face of the device.

I went through the entire process of downgrading, jailbreaking, updating, oktoprep, and finally touchfree jailbreak on 1.1.2.

I cleaned both my sim card and the "Turbosim" contact points, cut the corner of my sim card (to fit the chip), and taped the two together with very thin scotch tape. Then i slid both into my iphone, and proceeded to load up iWorld. Chose my country, (US with T-Mobile) and everything worked fine.

Since then (a week or so) they have been working amazing! I have been calling, texting, using the internet. My youtube and voicemail even worked 100% out of the box.

Then the other day something strange started to happen. My text messages or the SMS feature started to go in and out. I can fully receive text messages no problem. But when i try to send a reply the "sending" bar will load about 3/4 of the way and then give me a message that says "error sending message".

Also, sometimes trying to send a text message will completely wipe out my signal. I can have full 5 bars of T-Mobile signal, i will send the message, bar will load, "error sending message", and then after a few seconds my phone will have no signal at the top. In a few cases the phone even told me i had no sim card inserted.

After a while, (time always varies) i will get my signal back, and the iphone will beep at me telling me i have signal again. And if i let the iphone cool down even longer, i can send text messages again. It just keeps going in and out. Sometimes i can send them, other times i cannot. Nothing else is affected, just the SMS messages (which i use a lot).

I restarted the phone, took out my sim card and turbo sim, re-aligned and recleaned both. Nothing has worked so far. I dont know if there is an easy fix, or if there will be a hard reality for me. If anyone knows about this issue, or can help please let me know!

    Thanks guys,
    -R

UPDATE: whenever i try to send a text message, and the signal gets reduced to nothing. Right when i get signal again my phone beeps telling me i have a voice mail. Then when i dial my voice mail, i have an empty inbox.

I have no idea whats going on. And i really don't know why i can send text messages at some times, and not at others.

Given this update, can anyone help guide me in the right direction? It would really be a big help.

I have the same problem I have swapped my Next Sim 3 which was sold to me as a Next Sim 4 with a real Next Sim 4 and all my problems went away. I think the Next Sim 3 has many unresolved issues.

I have the same problem. Anyone selling NextSim 4?

Any phisical difference from NextSime3 and 4? I see on eBay some NextSime 4 and seems identical to mine.

Having the same issue with TurboSIM. Intermittently losing signal for a minute. Then, it comes back.

Is this prevalent throughout all *SIM solutions? Is there a fix for this? Since the TurboSIM is programmable, is there something I can do to fix this problem?

Same here, it's been a pain in the ass, please help someone!

What I have done is to take out the SIM and put it in my old mobile, then send a message , put back the SIM+turboSIM and it starts to work fine again. This is the fast workaround BUT after a while the problem comes back again

If anyone knows a solution please help.

    Cheers
