Ideasman69, when I used it on my girlfriend's phone I never needed to use the original ATT sim. The first thing I did was to remove the ATT sim and throw it in the box, never touched it again.

Rockleet, the phone has only been used by my girlfriend for a few days and seems to be holding the same charge *roughly* as mine, but there could be a difference still. It doesn't seem like it, but batteries are always hard to compare and we haven't done any kind of scientific comparison. I think it's fine though, just don't want to give the impression that I know for sure.

That's fine Sibelius. I just dont want my talk time to go from 5 hours to 2 hours..

i can accept 5 hours to 4.5 hours. No biggy. Chances are it won't deplete at all but i had to make sure. Thanks again.

Here's another question for you. Why didnt you go with iphonesimfreer again(like your phone) and instead go with hypersim?

Oh, I used iphonesimfree SOFTWARE unlock on my phone since it was an older phone, but of course now we can't do that anymore. I actually am beginning to prefer the idea of these hypercards/turbosim solutions over the software unlock. It's nice not to have messed with the internals of the iphone

I'm just too impatient to wait for a firmware update that might or might not come til jan 15th(i read somewhere) THEN wait for the dev guys to break it after that. Might be over a month until I actually make a call.. I just hate the fact that I have to butcher my sim card but whatever I can get another for 20 bucks, or settle for the extra attachment hypersim supplies. Ideally Stealthsim is the preferred method but its an extra 40 bucks almost. Hope they email me back soon. I dont know what time it is in taiwan.. I'm like a little giddy kid right now.

This whole HyperSim hype (I like puns) seems pretty feasible for me to undertake. I'm really patient and have no prob on waiting 2 more monthes to get my oob 112 unlocked, but the added value of two sims in my phone it's just too tempting.

To tempt me more (or to pull me back to Earth), how will I be able to have 2 sims to switch in practice???

I'm reading a lot everywhere, but if you want to help, it would be much appreciated.

same here! haven't had any response as yet.

Just wanted to point out that it's 10.30 am in Taipei now....and there have probably been tons of orders during the night their time....I'm sure they'll take care of it as soon as they can. I ordered mine in the late afternoon (their time) and they got back to me within an hour, but I suspect they have many more orders now than just a few days ago.

supposedly..
all you have to do is call 11* or 22* and this will change your phone from sim 1 to sim 2

and thats it. This is what hypersim is saying anyway.
