Default [1.1.2 OTB] [Happy Post] Success with NextSIM!

Hi guys! I've had my 1.1.2 OTB iPhone for a while now and I just got my NextSIM in the mail today and I'm just so FREAKING HAPPY that I can now use my iPhone with my carrier, which is Chinook Wireless. Everything went flawlessly! Downgraded to 1.1.1 -> Installed Oktoprep -> Upgraded, Jailbreaked, & Activated 1.1.2 -> Installed iWorld -> inserted my SIM card (w/ NextSIM) and wa-la!

I'm not posting this for advertising, but incase of anyone that has doubts about NextSIM. Also because I'm overflowing with happiness. I got the NextSIM from eBay for about $45 and I'm so glad I did. Not only do I <3 NextSIM because it's cheap, but because I didn't have to transfer any files to my iPhone via SSH like when dealing with a TurboSIM or something similar.

Anywho, I hope all of you iPhoners without at&t have the same luck that I did (having a phoneless iPhone sucks bad, I know) and good luck and godspeed to the dev team for working on the software unlock. Goodnight!

I too got really tired of waiting. My iphone was lying as an ipod touch for way too long. I bought in mid Dec in DC on an impulse when my driver told me that they had slashed the prices by $200. Since then it was torture. After millions of refreshes on hackintosh, even setting it up as my homepage, I thought this 'trauma' wasn't worth it. Got mine for $50 locally. Finally!! (Didn't know it was available locally else I'd have got it long ago)
Still rooting for the dev team for that software unlock though but I'm

Great!! I'm really happy for you!! I also ordered one, but mine is a StealthSim, and I'm hapy too because I just received my tracking number and it should arrive next week I guess...although I think the estimated arrival time in the tracking page is wrong because it says it will arrive on the 14th. Does anyone have experience on international shipping? I bought from eBay, and the guy says he ships Priority Express through FedEx, heres the log:

Can I expect the estimated arrival time to change? Or will it arrive on the 14th? Because I'm going on a business trip on the 14 and I really need it to be here in Machala, Ecuador before that date.

By the way: I think you posted this in the wrong place, should get moved soon.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I ordered mine from China (I live in the US) and it began shipping on December 30th. I got it today (January 4th) so perhaps it will arrive sooner? Though the mail carrier was EMS and then USPS.

PS: Sorry for posting in the wrong place

NextSim is not an unlock solution, it is just a hardware hack that dupes the phone and makes it believe the inserted simcard is an AT&T.

I'm moving dozen of threads everyday from Unlocking to here.
