My first post. Wait for softfware unlock is proved too long so I´ve decided to buy SIM solution.

Has anybody use EasyISim to unlock 1.1.2 OTB from US?

Any feedback on results?

I can provide feedback on easyisim as I just installed it and it works on my OTB 1.1.2 US iphone with an Austrian sim card. The price including shipping to Austria was around 57 euros (43 british pounds).

I ordered it from www.mobileunlock.co.uk and payed via paypal on wednesday at 21:30 but received no confirmation email which i thought was a bit weird so I emailed them via the contact us web link. I received an email within minutes saying my order had been processed and I should expect delivery on Monday (though the persons English wasn't great). Lucky me it got delivered today (within 36 hours !) via airmail.

The card came in a little plastic box with no instructions but I've been reading the forums long enough to know what to do so I cut a piece out of my tele.ring (austrian carrier) sim card, put it all together and put it into the iphone. The sim card got accepted and all I had to do was install iWorld so that it doesnt crash on phoning.

The card itself is labeled china3gpp.

i just read another thread saying their shipping service is pretty bad and they wont exchange any defective sims for free. well hopefully that doesnt happen and maybe they will get better at shipping

I had a suprising excellent shipping time, but of course I may have just been luckly (1 1/4 work days).

this info is totally incorrect,so far we do not have defective easyisim ship to customer. and due to the high voluem of order.we have a huge back order.

customer can always log in to their accout to check the order progress.

we can solve out the back order in 24hours,and everybody can get their easyisim in few days time .

The easyisim ist programmable, right? Does it use the same software that is used by Turbosim (apfelsaft I think?). If so, does that mean that the likelihood of it surviving the next firmware upgrade (if it can be jailbroken) is the same?

If it is programmable then one doesnt know how to do so. The easyisim comes already programmed. It comes without any instructions sent to you. You do get a pdf file on how to jailbreak your iphone etc, but these instructions do not contain any information on how to reprogram it.

So again, I can confirm it works out of the box on otb 1.1.2, the website claims that "EASYiSIM will survive thru all the various firmware upgrade" so one would assume that it is programmable. If it is however then no instructions are provided on how to do so.
