Absolutely! But you must reprogram it, and clear it first if you changed provider.

Search to find out how. Many post describe it.

exactly. the turbo sim can be programmed when the iphone is using fw 1.1.2 too

so if u u have jailbreaked ur iphone and now it has fw 1.1.1, download oktoprep in ur phone (AS EXPLAINED IN THE GUIDE IN STEP 1), update to 1.1.2, run the seckpack 1.1.2 and then program ur turbosim

Where does it "specifically" say that you can programme the turboSIM in 1.1.2 on the Dev Team Status Ticker Page? Kiwi, your post is very misleading, especially for those of us with 1st hand experience.

I can tell you now that it didnt work for me on 1.1.2. I had to wipe my turboSIM, and do it again under 1.1.1

The TurboSIM programming software is guaranteed to work under 1.1.1 and 1.0.2, so I highly recommend not bucking the system until its 100% confirmed working.

Well, my TurboSIM was programmed on a 1.1.2 OOB iPhone.

I was with the phone activated since Nov 17th (1.1.2 -> 1.1.1, jail/okto -> 1.1.2, jail) and just added turbosim apps on my phone some days ago.

Then when my blank TurboSIM card arrived, i'd just cut off both AT&T and my carrier's GSM cards, programmed it with AT&T SIM, removed and added my carrier SIM, and voilá, full working iPhone.

I meant that as confirmed by the dev team wiki an OOB 1.1.2 iphone can be unlcoked using a turbosim and yes it should work once having fw 1.1.2

was ur turbo sim previously programmed for another firmware or u have a complete blank turbo when u couldn't make it working for fw 1.1.2?

First, thanks all of you guys responses ! I still remebered how difficult it was back Aug when I was trying to unlock my 1st iPhone with 1.0.0. since I'm a novice but finally made it. As soon as SW unlock comes out, my TS has sit in my junk box ever since. However, I'm lost in here & there now. All I can remember is to run turbo info & applet with ATT sim in, switch your service provider sim restart & you fly.

Now, it seems getting much much simple with just couple files & folder SSH to the / root, type commands & free,

To make it short, here's the case. My only one blank TS has been progarmmed on my 1st phone 1.0.0. My TS retired when iUnlock introdued, So I upgrade to 1.0.2 then SW iUnlock with no problem.

Now, here's the key point. A friend of mine bought an OOB 1.1.2 & wanna try my TS again.

Can he use my TS for 1.1.2 new phone as long as me & him are using same service provider ?

If not same service provider, I'll then need to reprogarm the TS, right ? Is this a individaul step that I need it to be done before sandwich TS & the ATT card in the slot ? Or the reprogarm steps are included during the unlocking process posted here ?

I did some searches but couldn't find a muppy guide for reporgarm TS.

You can use the same Turbo SIM if both phones are locked to the same provider (i.e. if yours was a US phone and your friend is an US phone too, then it's ok). Your "real" carrier does not matter, you can use any SIM you have.

May I ask whether it is a must to upgrade back to 1.1.2 after downgrade to 1.1.1?

As i don't think there has much difference between two version, so I prefer to stay in 1.1.1 rather than upgrade it back to 1.1.2.
