I have iphone v1.1.4 with no wifi.. i want to downgrade to 1.0.2
and reflash my baseband to 1.0.2 to its original state ..

i read the guide for downgrading the firmwareand baseband
but how will i know what is my iphone ip.. i know i can put BSD SubSystem + Terminal + OpenSSH files through iliberty+ but in guide it said that

ssh -l root@ip address of iphone.

i know when i downgrade to 1.0.2 my wifi will be still grey.
so is there any other method to know iphone ip address so i can connect and downgrade what i need.

no wifi means wifi is completely disabled hence you do not have an ipaddress.

If you are delivering payloads of BSD, Terminal to the phone, you don't need ssh because you use terminal right on the phone.

You use ssh so you don't have to use vt100 on the phone. That's what ssh is for & also for using winscp/sftp.

but in tutorial it says that ssh -l root

means i dont have to follow this step and get to the next step
and one thing more when i enter 'su' it ask for password i entered alpine and dottie but both passwords are incorrect.. what is the matter with the password,

and dtube i have a serious problem when i restore to any firmware to anyfirmware it stuck on activation screen i have to use ibooterwin and give invalid mac address and after fsboot my iphone do not stuck and in ibooterwin when i enter radio readnvram
it shows my wifi mac address exactly right.. and if i again put my mac address to correct address and fsboot it hangs out again.

can you tell me what is the problem ? do i downgrade to 1.0.2 and reflash the baseband ? is this the baseband and seczone corruption ?

The password issue is probably due to BSD 2.1 and require suid lib fix or something like that. I don't remember exactly but you can search the forum on that. It has been discussed.

You used ibooter to give invalid mac address because your slider is stuck right? (you enter ip address instead of MAC address). Well, that's probably the only way to get around that stuck slider at the home screen. After you get passed that slider, you correct the MAC address with a valid one and you're back to square one again.

I've seen that problem before and there is no way around that. I don't think this is a baseband or bootloader corruption because if you can ignore the wifi issue, your phone/ipod funtionality still works 100%.

The only time where I see this get fixed is if you replace the Intel flash + Marvell wifi chipset in the iphone which is no small feat for normal user. You need very special tool to read the flash and reprogram it (see here)

You wifi is completely dead. If you can live without wifi on phone, you can still fix it and use it as phone & ipod.
