how can I Transfer files between my unlocked & jailbreaked iPhone and Mac via USB cable (not wifi)?

install AFP from installer (yes you will need wifi or edge to use installer), the go to the following on your mac: go -> connect to server -> afp://123.456.7.123 (replace with your phone ip)

Will this work over USB like the original poster wanted. Seems to me this would be over wifi, considering it is "connect to server" command in the finder. Is there a way to make the iPhone mount like a hard drive, like you can do with an ipod?

I want to transfer the wikipedia dump from my mac to the iphone. Since I have a bad wifi connection it would be great if I could do it via USB.

I tried all three: the first one does not allow acces to all folders, 2 and 3 access via wifi which is what I don't want.

yes it will work exactly like the original poster wanted - remember IP is not only for wifi - try it out

this works over the usb cable the Mac sees the phone as a drive and mounts it accordingly, if you dont have AFC set then you'll get limited access (the media partition) if you have AFC setup (using iplus or zibri ibrickr fix) it will give you full access to all files, i use this all the time

MacFuse is required for "Disk for iPhone", not iPhoneDrive.

I installed AFPd [via installer] but when I deactivate the wifi [I want to connect to iphone via the usb cable] it says no ip address No network connection found

Any solutions
