[Sync] Transferring contacts from iPhone to Nokia
I am patiently awaiting July 11 when I can get my paws on the new 3G puppy but for now I have decided to let my nephew use my old 8 GB iPhone so I can play around with his Nokia E90. I have my iPhone synced with my Powerbook Pro so I know I will be able to get my current contacts back on the new 3G iPhone. The thing is I have around 800 contacts on my iPhone so my question is how do I move them all on to the Nokia?
Thank You

Nokia has an iSync plugin for Macs. Works with your E90, scroll down in the list.
hope that helps,

Hmmm, thanks for that link. How do I move contacts from iTunes to iSync? Pardon my ignorance as I have never used iSync before.

both read and write data from address book.app for contacts and calendar.app for... calendar
so you actually dont have to do anything particular

Sorry for not explaining that. Apples sync services do all the work, when you sync your iPhone with the Mac. For the iPhone you do not need any app to start, iTunes does the job.
For other devices the application iSync (in application folder) is taking care for all syncing. iSync take care for lots of mobile phones without any helper apps. For Nokias phones iSync needs plug-ins. Thats the one I mentioned. So after installing the plugin you connect the Nokia E90 via USB to the Mac and start iSync then.
Goto iSync's menu "devices" and select "add device". It will connect to your Nokia phone. After that with just one click all your contacts in addressbook app on the Mac and iCal events will be moved to the Nokia phone and you are set.
It works pretty much the same as syncing with the iPhone, you just have to use the helper iSync and the plugin from Nokia.
Hope that helps,

For iPhone you will use free App Phonecopy and your Nokia has to be synchronized to PhoneCopy - organize your phone data . Then you can transfer contacts from iPhone to Nokia or back.
