[Sync] Bloody iTunes !
basically ive had my iphone for about 3 weeks now and it was all running smoothly then 1 day i went to put a few songs on it and after i plugged it in and sync'd it i noticed the "manually manage music and videos" box was unticked! so it wouldnt let me add anything then i tick it and click apply and it wants me to erase everything on my iphone! this happend before the 1st week i had it but obviously its going to keep happenin and its annoying puttin all my music on again and again! is there a way out of this so i dont have to delete everything??
Adding songs manually was introduced to iTunes recently. I would not use it.

Once you have new song(s) just add them to that playlist. this way, only the new onecs get synced, the rest remains.
You could aswell set up a second playlist and call it something like "hot and new" and sync both with the iPhone. result is the same.
hope that helps

MY advice to you is ::
Go to c r a z y - c o d e r z . n e t <no spaces>, and make an account (best damn site on this planet, if you do not believe me check it out)... Also, give me some propz just for sharing that because it is my definite source for .. um... everything.
search "Media Monkey Pro", make sure you read the comments from other users, and make sure the file has been scanned (in which MOST cases it is, but sometimes you have the usual scumbag trying to put a trojan in there, just make sure to read them).
The newest media monkey (i discovered it here 1 day on Hackint0sh, and definitely deserves more attention) will sync your iphone w/out installing anything additional ie daemons onto your fone. It is a simple plug in the iphone, and it appears under the list in media monkey. Your custom ringtones even appear on the list....
SO what I do now is use media monkey for all of my songs and content, while still using itunes to sync phonebook and ringtones. Good combination, you would have to agree. LoL check it out, and if you like, gimme thumbs up! Holler
