    We couldn't agree more.
Sooner or later, I think we're just going to simply delete such threads without any further comment or warning. Taking care of such threads is time consuming and annoying, nobody really needs them and they also flood the forums with useless stuff.

Thanks for mentioning this problem, I hope the users finally start to understand that patience is a virtue and that it is very annoying asking the same stuff over and over again. If there is something new, it will be posted. Period.

i wonn post another thread and will ask in here.. if it doesn't bother you.

I'm gettin 3 iPhones on 13 Oct, i'm sure they will have 1.1.1.

is there any chance to bypass the activation? with any software or some weird social number?

i have no other chance to get an iphone, i live in chile and i'll be traveling on 12 oct.

    Thanks!

From what i can gather, your best option would be to either wait it out, but i dont see any thing stopping you from using the TurboSim method.

I don't think so. This gentleman talks about buying three new iphone with 1.1.1. The Turbosim method will probably work if you are able to activate in the first place your phone, but it is still not possible with 1.1.1. Now, is it possible to downgrade a newly bought, born 1.1.1, to old 1.0.2 ? May be, but i did not see any posting to that effect.

And, by the way, i strongly support james2mart remark. Not really about posting again and again on the same subject, but about putting a false topic name. Can't understand why some do it. If you want to ask a question, put a ? at the end. ï can deal with a multitude of thread on the same subject. But i always feel a little screwd when i open a post with a topic name that is a false annoucement. Louis

The little thing we can do to stop repeating questions is to write a 1.1.1 FAQ with big bold letters and put it in every forum. The existing ones are really not obvious to newcomers.
