See my screenshot please. I can SSH in just fine using terminal, but I cannot get cyberduck to connect, nor fetch, nor transmit.

Something is going on with my port 22.

I had a bad app install and nearly bricked it, used cyberduck to go in and remove the app, and rebooted. Now I cannot get in with any program, only terminal. Phone works fine otherwise.

I have mobilefinder installed which can go in via localhost :22 on Bonjour and that works fine as well.

what's the problem here? I need to get in with cyberduck! It's worked fine for many FW's including this one. I just lost the ability after the near crash and burn.

I uninstalled openssh via cydia, rebooted, and reinstalled. Did not help.





...and what is really odd is that I can see port 22 open.....






Can't directly connect to it.

try it this way:

ssh root@192.168.X.Y (where x.y are the final parts of the ip address of the iphone)

or


ssh -lroot -p 22 192.168.X.Y (opposed to windows, the ssh client of MacOs does not use ":" as separator the same way telnet does )

Hi, I always go in that way. That's how I got the screenshot of me in it in the first shot. I also tried the way you said secondly and it went in that way also, but it will not let me do it via any 3rd party SSH application.

What gives with that?

NO idea how that happened! I have been SSh'ing to this phone since the 1.0.2 days and never has the snitch blocked port 22, it appears as if it did it randomly.

Checking that was my last resort. Obviously the issue, works like a charm now.
