Hey guys, i found a sollution for 1.1.3 for mac.
And the app is iToner ofc.

    1. Find your mp3 file that you were using as a ringtone, and drop it into iTunes.
    2. Make sure your iTunes importing settings are such that AAC is selected for importing.
    3. Right click on the file in iTunes playlist and select convert to AAC.
    4. Drag the file from the iTunes playlist to your desktop and change the .aac OR .m4a file extension to .m4r (make sure it is m4R not m4A)
    5. Open up iToner and proceed as normal with the sync process
    6. Go into the iPhone settings and select your custom ringtone and it should play as expected.

    Enjoy!

And btw: You don't need to think about the 30 sec limit ;D

Does it work for 1.1.3 though?

on the website it said it doesn't work with the latest version
    http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/itoner/

What's the limitation on the trial version?

Looks good, will give it a shot when they have full support for 1.1.3

I just tried iRinger, the thing is it did convert the audio and put it in the iphone ringtone directory but it cannot import it into itunes. I double-clicked on the file but it just adds it to the standard library not to the ringtones. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

For 1.1.3, put your .m4a ringtones (renamed to .m4r) to /Library/Ringtones

    Default 1.1.3 Ringtone

I used the same ringtone I used with the 1.1.1 firmware when I upgraded to 1.1.3. All I had to do was open the *_.M4R (_ = space) file and it registered as a ringtone in iTunes 7.5(19) and that was it. Went into the ringtones tab in my iPhone section of iTunes and selected custom ringtone. Now I have my custom ringtone in 1.1.3, couldnt have been easier.

This is a bug with itunes manual syncing. If you do automatic syncing then all the custom ringtones show up properly.
