Default [Restore] Can it be done via WiFi ?

Is there any way to do this? Via ssh or something? Cause i don't find my phone via itunes, and my home button isn't working so i would like to restore the phone to see if it will work and also to be able to maybe use my warranty to get a proper working phone.

So, anyone knows if it's possible to restore the phone via wifi?

But you said that you lost your cabel? Are you in the USA?Did you buy a new cable?
And you can only get service from apple if your legally activated with AT&T.

I didn't loose my cable, but my phone doesn't get any contact with the computer. It gets electricity, but itunes doesn't notice that my phone is plugged in.

I'm not in the US, but i'm able to get the phone there for warranty.

"Please note that warranty service is not dependent on activating your iPhone." it says on apple's website, so i don't think you'll need if you point this out.

One of my iPhones has this exact same problem...home button doesn't work and computer doesn't recognize the iPhone is plugged in. I've seen this crop up on other forums but no solution.

I think the plug just got zapped which affected home button functionality so there's probably no software solution to it.

Simply not enough information given to help you. Try letting everyone know the status of you phone, i.e firmware version, itunes version, how your phone got into this state in the first place, and if you have tried getting to DFU mode using any method?

    okey. My phone is

    OTB 1.1.2

atm, updated and unlocked via Ziphone, 1.1.4, i've changed bootloader with bootneuter to 4.6, and baseband = 04.04.05_G .

My phone got into this state after falling from a chair to the floor. (0,5 meters), and i'm quite sure that it's a wire inside that's fallen out of it's place. I've read about it quite much, but havn't gotten a good explanation about how to fix etc.

So now im thinking about getting it back to a as close to stock state as possible, to then maybe be able to send it in to warranty.

Have you try in another USB port or in another computer... My windows computer every so often doesn't recongnize a USB device in a port but if I plug it in in another it works .... first try that and see if you get the phone recongnize.... you could also try ZiPhone or iLiberty and see if the can get in touch with your phone and if memory serves me right, they both can put your iPhone in DFU mode...

    Regards,

PS: English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistake...
