Can anyone please tell me how to transfer all my music from my i-phone back onto the hard drive of my PC. I have music and videos which I want to edit.

well,uh,how about iTunes?? Or Move N' Play, or any media player that speaks apple's ipod database (amarok, gtkpod, etc.). You could e.g. use sshfs and mount your iphone in your PC's file system, if on a unix-based system.

as far as i know you cant JUST transfer music/videos from the iphone to your pc.


you can copy the itunes_control folder, thats where everything is, but with weird names, in weird folders... example:
folder: F01
music files: AFDDS.mp4
then, if you play the file on your pc/mac, it will give you its correct name if it was tagged
