[Problem] [Can't sync] How to resolve error -54?

Hi,

I encountered an error message "The iPhone "Touraco" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-54)." from iTUNES when I sync my photos. My photos cannot be synced thereafter. How do I resolve this issue?

Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache folder (located in your Pictures folder) and then, sync again.

Don't worry, iTunes will re-generate it the next time you sync your iPhone

Guys, I encounter a similar error but when I tried to sync my music library..Help me....I have Iphone 3G 8GB, (ios 3.1.3)

Do you have the same problem with the exact same error code? Or are you clutching at straws and threadjacking a similar but probably unrelated thread?

If you get a different error code, search for that error code. If you don't get any results, then create a new thread.

Use google to search hackint0sh.org as the built-in search facility might not give you any results. Use the following search query as a guide but replace the -54 with your own error code (you need to use quotes around search keywords that begin with a minus sign)
