sync apps

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if this will be a major or minor problem. My itouch is one of the 1st gen from what i heard. I already tried upgrading and downgrading to 1.1, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.5 versions of firmware but still i cant connect/sync with the applications of the itunes though music, video, pictures can. I also tried 7 and 8 versions of itunes but still i cant sync. I actually cant see the applications button when connected. I saw in a forum from apple that i have to upgrade my itouch to 2.0 Are there other way having a freeware? Hope you can give advise. Thanks in advance

the apps tht r availabe thru appstore r made for firmware versiions 2.x.x n u won c the application tab until u upgrade to 2.x.x firmware. But u can install apps by jus dwldin d .ipa files of any apps n extract d ApplicationName.app folder frm it and copying it to d Applications folder of ur iTouch thru SSH.
