[iTunes] Adding Subtitles in your Encoded movies
I have been looking for a long time for a way to merge subtitles into a movie to be seen on an iPhone but I haven't found any way to do that so far.
Since FW 1.1.3 this functionality has been added but it seems that nobody is interested. Beware: I DO NOT MEAN HARD-CODED SUBTITLES, as those obtainable through handbrake, videora, etc
I mean SOFT SUBTITLES, the ones that I can turn on and off from my iphone.
What I would like to do is, having an .m4v video file, to add the subtitles to it taken from an .srt/.sub subtitle track having the possibility to turn them on/off in my iphone later.
Does anyone know a way to do that?
Preferably on a mac :-P
Great tool to add multiple subtitles on iPhone Movie
Hello, I found a good tool to add multiple subtitles on quicktime movie for use with your iPhone or Apple TV.
Its MUXO, first you need to convert the movie from DVD to M4V with Handbrake, then you can use MUXO to add subtitle track (SRT format, I use Jubler to validate it first).
nice workflow: http://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic....t=5853&p=35948
