Hello!!

I have been trying to figure this out for a few days now and have searched damn near every forum i could find!

I have a ZiPhone Jailbroke 1.1.2OTB 1.1.3 Firm 04.04.05_G

I have BSD--OpenSSH--bossprefs--installed and winSCP

Im running vista wireless to a Linksys router. Wifi on the phone works but i have noticed it can actually be a little slower then edge from time to time! But for the most part wifi is much faster.

I enter my IP
Port 22
root PW-Alpine
SFTP
Everytime i try to connect i get "connection timeout"

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall all programs.. even restored locks and jailbroke again..

Does anyone have any advice on what i might be doing wrong or am i skipping a step?

Try reinstalling BSD and OPENSSH.

Also, do you have the advanced preferences installed and if so, did you accidentally turn off SSH? I had the same issue and nearly ripped my keyboard to pieces before realizing that I had turned off SSH to conserve battery.

Try these things and I'll check back to see your progress, if any *shotgun crosses fingers*

if you notice that when you first install BSD it say it take 30-60 SEC to get key or whatever it will time out just leave it for like a minute don't ABORT and us SCP...And sometime when you restore your iphone again your IP will change so make sure you have that down
