I am from India and havn't got a chance to buy iphone myself yet due to

1. high price earlier
2. not launched in india yet.

But i've been following up every iphone news very religiously. Well i intend to buy one when it is launched in india.

I was thinking now since we have the SDK of iPhone and we almost heard the news that 2.0 has been cracked/jailbreaked as well..

I was wondering is it possible to have an MobileMe clone which is free of cost. I don't know if people have thought about it or not...

I don't know how feasible it is ? I just had this thought so i expressed it.

If you guys have and discussed it already then i am really sorry and request mods to delete the post.

and if not then why don't we start this. I would be willing to invest in something like that.. I mean starting a service for the people around the world for free...

very much doubt it as no body would set up servers with 20gb of storage, with the software for push pull, for free.

Well i guess mobileme is not only for mails... its also for other things like calendar, photos, contact and other things..
