Thanks for all the comments. My apologies for not being able to work on kvip for a while. Other projects have consumed my free time. I still have not forgotten on what feature requests are, though:

    1. Ability to join several videos together
    2. Ability to play videos on PSP, PS3, Xbox360, etc.
    3. Subtitle support.

Thanks for your kind words. I hope to be able to come back and work on the above features soon.

    Usually crashes converting wmv file.
    I get

    Error signature
    AppName: mencoder.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: mencoder.exe
    ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0039d35a

    and produces an error report.

I converted a 633MB video file which resulted to a 80MB only size file. It plays fine but when I tried to fast forward, it'll bring me back to the start. There is no error reporting during the conversion. Any idea what's wrong?

I convert with many files with success. Encounter few small issue:
    1. With the keep audio file option set, I can get the aac file. It can play with quicktime but itunes can take it....so cannot sync with iphone. Any idea? The extension is aac...do i need to change to m4a? I tried it but doesn't work..thanks

With my duo core it took Free iphone Video Converter not 10 but 39 mins to convert a 740mb file, it took a shade over 40 mins to convert via K-Vip app. Heres the kicker, Free iphone video converter output of my 740mb file was 1.51gb as opposed to K-Vips output which was 364mb and the quality is almost identical.
    You do the math!
