[iTunes] Syncin with a new PC
Hey guys, i'm having a problem here... Sadly my HD died some days ago, and i realy would like to snycronice my iPhone again with my PC, do you happen to have any idea how to do it without having to delete my iPhones data and set it up as a new one? As i lost most of the data (like music and pictures) this wouldnt be good...

On a Mac I use PhoneView. It's a 20$ shareware (I know, freeware would be best choice), but it's really good and allows the access to all the data on the iPhone.
For Windows there is iPhone PC Suite, see the thread here

In both cases you copy all the files you want to save from the iPhone to your PC. After that you have to put music/videos back into iTunes. After that syncing will be ok. As for the other data like addresses, SMS, Call history, bookmarks aso. You can SFTP into your iPhone, goto
/private/var/mobile/Library and save the data to your PC, then after syncing the first time to get music/videos back, copy back the data.
As for photos on camera roll, they are in
/private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100Apple
Look for the files with .JPG as suffix
Hope that helps
