i want to restore my iphone without itunes.

not sure at all but if windows mobile phones can do it why shouldn't the iphone? i say that should be the next big thing from all these programers! big props will go to anyone that can create such an app! hey i wouldn't even mind donating or even paying as long as it has unlimited use per iphone

i think the closest you can come to that is leaveing ssh behind and deleting all you extra apps thru that then afterwards go to settinegs and hit erase all content and settings.......

sorry but you didnt say that in your orginal post, i was just thinking that you couldnt use your computer and were away and able to use someone elses, what is wrong with the phone anyways:p

are you getting an error message when restoring- along the lines of 1013,1015,1016? if so you can download something called winpwn that will bypass the error message and get you using it again, just check out youtube on how to use it. dunno if that helped?
