Default iPhuc Problem (cant find directory error)

any help would be awesome. i'm trying to follow this guide but im getting stuck at step 2.

im running a MacBook Pro 10.4.10

    heres what I did.

    1) use iActivator to break out of jail. quit iActivator.
    2) go into restore mode (25 secs on the buttons) and log in with iPhuc (type iphuc into the terminal)
    3) grestore /phonedmg and then exit
    4) FileSystemCheck /dev/disk0s2

i look on the iphone and see that it found and corrected a minor errror in the header, so i run FileSysemCheck /dev/disk0st2 again just to be sure. no errors found.

    5) mount /dev/disk0s1 /mnt1

this is where i'm stuck. it reads on the iphone, "Mount...mount_hfs: Invalid argument" so im probably doomed, but i'll try the next step anyways. i think it's gonna give me the same error... but...

    6) mount /dev/disk0s2 /mnt2

the iphone reads, "Mount...Aug 5 01:12:07 launchd[1]: mkdir("/var/tmp/launchd"): No such file or directory

so i am doomed for the moment... no idea what to do with "invalid argument" or "no such file or directory"

    what am i doing wrong?

any help would be awesome. thanks everyone.

Why are you using iActivator in step 1? The procedure you started with grestore is for escaping chroot, e.g. jail. I'd suggest reading 'How to Escape Jail' on the Wiki.

You need to wait for the phone to display FTL_Open message BEFORE you started fscking around and mounting.

The launchd error message is normal & harmless.

Don't run iPHUC under an admin account on your computer.

    1) Ok, so iActivator is not necessary.

    2) I waited for FTL_Open

    3) You mean the step 6 message is normal? Can't find directory sounds pretty severe to me.

    4) So I should make a new account on my computer then?

I am having a similar problem.
    after doing: mount /dev/disk0s1 /mnt1
I get: mount_hfs: No such file or directory

I did step by step from the How to break out of jail doc.

Anyone know why this is happening?
