I've got the infinite yellow triangle of death going on right now, and I understand that copying bbupdater over to the phone to flash the baseband as a daemon could be an answer to my problems. My issue is that I'm not sure how to achieve this with iPHUC.

Could someone write a short "HOW TO" on this? I know I'm not the only person having this issue.

I'd like to know how to do this, as well. Have searched everywhere online and have yet to figure out how to accomplish this, or if it can even be done for those of us in the "restore/1011 loop."

I did a little research... it looks like "getfile" and "putfile" are iPHUC commands, the problem will be that I dont think you can run them in recovery mode.

i had an ipod in constant recovery mode and after checking the mac support forums i read 2 people had there ipod replaced.

i tried all of the trouble shooting for the ipod touch with no joy of a fix.

the screen was black and once in a while would flash when i connected to the mac and then it would look like it was recovering then it just gave the error 6

i took it into the apple store and they gave me a new ipod no questions asked.

i had been using cracked software after jailbreaking.

go get yourself a new ipod
