Personally i think they should have a downgrade version aswell.
So if we can use installer without crashing, we can install the previous version from a trusted source and then bobs your uncle were back in business

YES WELL BASICALLY I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I WOKE UP TOUCHED INSTALLER AND IT SAYED THERE IS AN UPDATE SO I TOUCHED YES. IT UPDATES THEN INSTALLER CRASHES AND SINCE THEN IT JUST CRASHES AS SOON AS I CLICK ON IT. THEY HAVE MADE THE INSTALLER SO WEIRD BECAUSE YOU CANT A.DOWNGRADE OR B.DELETE INSTALLER. YOU HAVE TO RE INSTALL 1.1.2 AND THEN JAILBREAK AND DO EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN AND SO ON AND SO ON. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US!!!!

You could manually reinstall installer with SSH instead of rejailbreaking.
