Default iNdependence v1.1 and new home

I updated the other thread with this information, but I thought that this new release and move to Google code warranted a new thread. From now on you'll be able to find the latest release and source code for iNdependence at:

    http://code.google.com/p/independence/

    From the CHANGELOG:

    v1.1 - 09/06/07

    - Added ability to add/remove applications to/from the phone. This includes setting the correct permissions and restarting Springboard
    - Added Finder-like interface for adding ringtones, wallpapers, and applications. Uses buttons or drag and drop. Shows preview images for wallpaper files and application icons.
    - Added "Restore PEM File" button which allows users to restore the original PEM file back onto their phone (useful when trying to undo all modifications for a firmware update)
    - Added "Remove SSH" button for same reason
    - Jailbreak has been verified to work on Windows via a command-line application. In the process of adding some missing CF functionality so that activation will work too. It's getting closer...
    --0p

PS. For those who are adventurous, the source code to an MS Windows command-line program I use for testing is there too. If you compile it right, and use the magic incantations, it will perform a jailbreak for you (however, activation doesn't work).

PPS. Version 1.1.1 is now out and it works with iTunes 7.4

I'm working on it. Regardless though you'll probably need to restore it (I bricked mine too).

I've been using INdependence to jailbreak my phone, it always says "Successful" at the end, but after I click OK on the dialog, the "Back To Jail" buttong disables itself automatically and the "Peform Jailbreak" enables itself.

All of this happens automatically. As if the phone went back to jail.

I am using a MacBook Pro and the phone has Firmware 1.0.2

    any ideas?

What I noticed is that after i Press the Power Button and Home Button for 20something seconds (After the dialog disappears) the "Status" in the application always remains "Disconnected: Waiting for iPhone" or something like that.

Any help you can provide I will appreciate.

Am I the only guy in the whole world having this problem?

INdependence recongnizes the phone at the begining without a problem. I Click on the Perform Jailbreak buttong and it asks to press the Sleep and Home buttong until the dialog dissapears.

The phone reboots in recovery mode, I see the yellow triangle for about 2 seconds, during this time INdependence recognizes the phone. After those 2 seconds, the screen changes to the silver Apple and INdependence says "Disconnected: Waiting for iPhone", it stays like that for like 2 minutes, the phone reboots and INdependence says: "Jailbreak Successful".

I click OK, and the phone connects to INdependence again and goes back to jail.
