Is there any special procedure before connecting the iphone to a computer and letting iTunes 7.4.1 start?

I took a look at iTunes 7.4.1 and there doesn't seem to be any changes in the MobileDevice library (on Mac anyways), so iNdependence 1.1.1 should work fine with it. I just tested a jailbreak and everything is ok.

First of thanks for the updates, they are awesome and fast too!

I was wondering would it be hard to implement a YouTube 'dump' through iNdependence? All of the threads I have read so far in most cases all that needs to be done is SSH the 3 files on to the phone, would it be hard to implement this into your app given it is one of the best UI's I have seen amoung the various apps?

Once again thanks for the hard work and I look forward to seeing how your app develops

I never use YouTube, so I haven't really been paying much attention to that hack. I personally think that having an entire application dedicated to YouTube is kinda silly (why not just make Safari detect when you've connected to YouTube and reconfigure itself instead?). I'm sure some other website will come along in a few years which does things better, everyone will move to that, and the app will be outdated (just like the whole Friendster -> MySpace -> Facebook transition).

Anyways, personal opinions aside, I'll put it on the list of things to look at for the next major release as I don't think it would be too difficult to add. My first priority right now though is getting things working on Windows.

As long as you're using iNdependence version 1.1.1, you are fine.

Yes. Except that you will need to reactivate your phone again (you will lose all hacks you've performed).
