Hi, I have a sim unlocked iPhone using the free unlock method (pre GUI version) and my phone is currently in jail. However I do not have YouTube working. If I de-activate and re-activate using iNdependence 1.2.1 will everything work ok, including YouTube and still sim free?

Also can I jailbreak without the sim free hack stop working?

deactivate your sim unlocked phone. (as long as you did not use the lockdown patch as it will NOT deactivate with that patch)

Activate and it reactivates your phone with you tube and still sim unlocked.

You do not need to enter the imei or ccid as it now reads it directly from the phone.

Safe as pie with untube enabled.

I did use the lockdown patch as I was recieving an error after the install. Where does that leave me?

Either restore your firmware, or replace the version of lockdownd you have on your phone with the stock version that comes with your firmware (you did back it up didn't you?)
