Most modern democracies are controlled by those who have enough money to fund political campaigns and lobby governments. So just because an individual can vote doesn't mean there's actually a choice in how a country is run in the end.

It's just not the same as independence... :p

PS. Seriously though, I'm glad someone is working to support Windows for firmware 1.1.1. I can't do everything myself. Keep it up!

Twisty, I can see you have some C# skills, so I could help you out by porting libPhoneInteraction (the core of iNdependence) to Windows again. It was working on Windows a while back, so it wouldn't take too long. Then you could replace all of the iPHUC scripting in your program with function calls into libPhoneInteraction (following how iNdependence on Mac does it).

This is the preferred way to do things IMO since I've seen many tools which just scripted iPHUC/jailbreak become out of date when a new firmware or version of iTunes comes out. Having an open source programming library gives you the flexibility to fix/debug things yourself when the time comes. It also helps you to understand how things work rather than just relying on the tools of others to get things done. That's part of my original concept of "iNdependence" (not relying on others' tools).

    Let me know.

does anyone know what the default password is when using idemocracy?
I may want to manually install edit files using winscp in the very near future.
I tried login in using root:dottie root:alpine and none worked?
what is the default password after using idemocracy? can I change it as well as in independence?

The app is great the latest release along w the fix helped me BIG TIME!!
    THANKS Drakenza!!
