I was just reading some other post mentioning the stuff about swapping sims around and having to reactivate in itunes, etc... (or iasign)

anyways: would it be possible (and is there any apt dev that wishes to do this), to have an app that runs upon booting the phone and reads the sim card on the phone and does the activation on the phone itself for that sim card...

Thinking down the line when the iphone is unlocked, I dont want to have to iasign everytime I swap a SIM, I'm sure other ppl wont either (you know, land in another country, no phone until you plug into the laptop... not really convenient)...

is it possible to read the required stuff from the SIM, is it possible to do so before the phone "rejects" it, and is it possible to auto-iasign the iphone with a stand-alone version?

this can also be used to make it easier to use turbosim/supersim style solutions, together with an att account... (any sort of sim-swapping would require an iasign, so this would be an "auto-iasign")
