[iBooter] will it help me?
Hi All,
my iPhone is crashing on the boot after I installed some updates of some applications.
I am wondering if this program can help me to understand what is crashing and what I can/have to delete in order to recover my phone without restoring it.
Please suggest

What OS are you running?
iBooter has been replaced by iRecovery since around OS 2.0
These tools are not likely to help you in your case, but you can always try.

The phone doesn't start so I cannot check.
By the way any of those tools can help me to see the filesystem (files and folders)?
I would like to check what are the newest added/edited files on the phone, maybe if I delete the right things it will start back working
I really don't want to make a "restore'

Well then iRecovery is the only choice - iBooter does not work with newer OS versions like 3.1.x
As I said.. iRecovery is just an interface to iBoot and Apple has long since removed or disabled all the good/powerful features in iBoot to prevent jailbreaks.
There is no single tool that can do what you want.
Your best option is to use the iPhone forensics approach and make an image of the media partition then recover the files you want from within that image.
