iAsign work with old (pre-merged) AT&T Card?
I have not yet tried the iAsign method but I'd like to know if it works for the old AT&T cards (before they merged with cingular)

i dont think so.. i have two of those older SIM cards on active phones, cant get either of htem to go.. I believe I read somewhere here that if your SIM card starts with 8901, you're good cause this is the newer orange 'Cingular' SIMs, but mine is '89310' which is the older SIMs and they dont work.
if someone could get the older one to work, that's be excellent..

Those cards are 32k. Do you think if you clone it to 64k will work?
Can someone try?

Go to the local AT&T store. tell them you lost your old sim card while on a trip. or you entered the pin number wrong 3 times and it locked asking for the puck code so you threw it away and want a replacement. tell htem you want a new one that you can use in a laptops wireless modem cause you are thinking of signing up for the wireless plan after buying the modem.
they might charge you $10 for a new sim card. i think they should give you a new sim card just tell them you want to check that it is the 64k card cause you read they are faster on the net (to make sure they dont sell you an old stock sim )
