Default Jailbroke, activated but doesn't like sim

I successfully used the new version today to jailbreak and acivate but it didn't like the sim. It's giving me the incorrect sim error. I did update to the newest Itunes befoe trying it so I have 7.32 and the firmware is 1.0.1.

Itunes still picks up the phone number even though the incorrect sim error.

    Hi,

Would this program work on a "powerbook G4"? When I attempt to launch the program, the icon pops up in the dock and then vanishes again??? I can see in the original post that it is ppc compatible, but the author says he tested it on his G5... Would a G4 be different?

To be honest, I've only just received my iphone (in UK) and this is my first effort to activate it. I don't really know the best way to go about it - but this program looks good. I have a windows PC and this little 12" G4 powerbook. If this program doesn't work, what are my options?

Hi, I'm getting a "Connection failed: pairing issue" error when I connect the iPhone. Using 1.0.1 firmware, although iActivator 1.1.4 did not ask, iTunes 7.3.2.

I decided to give iActivator a try after iPHUC wouldn't work past the "getfile fstab fstab" command. Any thoughts on what's going on? I don't need activation, just jailbreak.

    Default do this

i had the same error, so I did a little googling

so, found that the following process worked for me (twice)

    1. Make sure iTunes and helper app are stopped
    2. Start iActivator
    3. Perform Jailbreak (select your current firmware directory)
    4. Click the Put PEM option
    5. Click the Generate Activation option (enter in your info, and save .plist file)
    6. Click the Return to Jail option
    7. Restart iPhone (I know, I know, not activated yet, this done after reboot)
    8. Start iActivator after iPhone is back up.
    9. Click Activate iPhone option (select your previously created .plist file)
    10. Your phone should not change to "Activating". Restart iPhone
    11. Done

    Have fun

    Ciao
