can anyone tell me why when i have generated the correct IMEI # and ICCID# with iactivator - i then save the file to desktop - and load it when i click activate -

but i get an error saying activation failed with code ?

Could it be cause i have restored with the wrong version (i did a clean restore and then jail broke using v1.00 fw)

I have done everything correctly but get error

Try going back to jail and *then* hitting the actvate. That worked for me when I had the same problem.

I got my iPhone activated, but get an error message from my iTunes:

Can't use "iPhone", because of wrong IMEI


what happend? I entered the IMEI correct in the iActivator....

Good Question! Does it?

I had the same problems, too.

Easy solution : End iActivate and restart again with the creation of the PEm file.

Once I had to restore my phone, because the image was corupted due to my defect HDD.

Regardless if you have 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 iActivate will work for you at the end of the day...

I agree here, the amount of threads that come up using these other tools (besides the standard jailbreak/iphoneinterface) with problems seem to be astromical. Seems more like to me these iActivator simple gui point click program has more problems then its worth.

Ive used the original cmd line jailbreak and iphoneinterface and have YET to hit a problem with the 100s of different mods of Ive done to the phoe.
