    Default iActivator/INdependence Problem

    Hello,

I recently jailbroke my iPhone succesfully, it had Firmware 1.0.0. After I connected to iTunes it upgraded to Firmware 1.0.2 (it restored my phone) so the phone went back to jail.

I've been trying to jailbreak it again, it says "Successful" but it immediately goes back to jail. I've tried so many times and I dont know what is going on.

Did anyone had this same problem?

PS. I am using a MacBook Pro, not using the dock and I am using the 1.0.2 firmware restore file (unzipped it).

I even tried with the other Firmwares, and it always ends with a "successful" message, but after I click OK, it goes back to jail automatically.

I moved to a PC and tried using the method from HackTheiPhone.com but the jailbreak application hangs at "booting the iPhone". So I guess it's not a computer issue but an iPhone issue.

It worked the first time (before the firmware upgrade), so it has to do with the iTunes restore.

Any one knows how to do a restore to the 1.0.1 Firmware with an unactivated iPhone? iTunes won't allow me to restore unless I activate the phone.

Ok, I tried it again on the PC with the 1.0.0 Firmware files and it worked. I would like to know why, but I guess tomorrow I'll have more time.

Tomorrow I will be attempting to open the damn thing, but I am not very optimistic about this, the easiest part turned out to be a freaking nightmare.

    Goodnight,
