The application doesn't seem to work under FW 1.1.2. I have now installed in manually by copying the dir from the .zip to the Applications folder. After a reboot, the icon appears, and when I tap on it, Safari opens (with just a white screen) and closes after some seconds. So far, this behaviour seems like it should be. However, when I then open Safari again and try to access http://127.0.0.1:2007, the standard "Page cannot be opened..." error from Sarafi appears. I assume the tool should install some sort of local server, which is then accessable under this IP adress, but that server doesn't seem to work under 1.1.2.

Any suggestions would be highly appretiated.

Which version of MNPlight have you installed ?

Normally, recent versions are supposed to take some time to start (the white screen for a few seconds), and then launch Safari on http://127.0.0.1:2007/. Now, there is another possibility: as it checks if it is already running, it is possible it decides not to start because it believes it is already running... Maybe we need to make this check optional...

    Hi all,
I'm trying to install MNPlight for a few days (I actually managed to install it but I can't add mp3 to any playlist. I've read most of the article of this thread and saw that the playlist had to be created manually (and not through the webpage). Is this still the case with v.2.12 ? I have an error when I click on playlist :
    "Internal Error
Operation raised exception stat failedon /var/root/Media/iTunes_Control/iTunes/OTGPlaylistInfo: No such file or directory"
Which is true actually, I've checked and I don't have that file on my iphone. Should I ? Do you see a reason why I get this message ?

BTW, excellent work Treb, this is a really good idea...

    Cheers,
    Mat

The repository is working now, you can normally install/upgrade through the installer to version 2.12.

    New in version 2.12:
    - Copy to/from On-The-Go playlist for editing other playlists (simpler)
    - Beamer: swap files between iPhones on WiFi
    - Automatically start Safari on launch

Please, for bug reports and problems, always specify the version of MNPlight you are using. We fixed some bugs, and we might already have fixed the bug you found...

    hi

Is it possible to sync with a *.ical file of a running organizer, directly ? (like Ms ActiveSync)

And I can not delete or edit an calender-entry, which was import by MNPlight. There is no "edit" icon like the other entries.

    bye
    Olaf

After your repository is back online, I installed the app again via installer.app. Now it works fine. Obviously, copying the content of the zip file to the application folder did not all the tricks required to get it run. Maybe just some file access rights would have to be altered when copying manually. Anyway, now it works great. Finally I've found a reasonable (even though not really easy) way to sync my Lotus Notes calendar with the iPhone.

Agreed, now you have to "manually" copy your .ics to your iPhone... but it's just the begining... Imagine what you'll be able to do with the real MNP client installed on your computer...

    Hi,

still I can not edit the synced dates ... the manuel added once work. Is that an access-rights issue? Is it a bug - or a feature?

I installed 2.12 with the installer.app on my 1.1.2. iPhone and synced my private google-Calendar over the 'download from URL' feature.

    Greetings,

    Pat

It is a bug. We are currently working on it. It will be fixed in the next version.
