    Hello world... Hi mate (Treb)

Sorry for the closed-source business model... But once the company is sold, we will re-developp everything and much more in open source... This give time to learn about the great and powerfull Ocaml language (^_^)

BTW Treb, once the core will be developped, it could be fun to free frenchscript and an API !?

Wait-- you know how to add songs to the iPhone music library? I've been trying to figure that out. How is it done? I was trying to code a Safari plugin to download mp3's to the iPhone and that's the part I'm stuck on....

Any idea when you might have a pxl package together?

Would be nice if the interface was native. Would make it easier to use.
could have different sync buttons for each type of content, like one for calender, contacts, mp3s, and then a sync all button.

this application is very nice, myself, I cannot use Itunes, since it does not want to sync my contacts, plus it is very heavy on winxp and keeps pc very slow.

I tried isync, I could sync the contacts to the iphone, but only names, no mobile numbers. I guess I have a problem converting my address book into an ldif format.

what is the best way to convert the address book into ldif format?

Well, there was a bug in one of the versions, where mobile numbers were not added automatically. This is supposed to be fixed in the some version, but I'm not sure if I released it, since many things changed recently. Anyway, it is fixed in the new version, which should be released later today...

I don't know what is the best software to export contacts, I used Thunderbird for my tests, I suppose it is able to import Outlook contacts and export them afterwards.

Default New release 2.05 of MNPlight

Ok, the new release has been delayed much too long... So, here is a new release 2.05 of the program. There are many changes, most of them not even noticable, but here is a short list:

    * It has been renamed "mnplight", for Move&Play Light Client

    * It should be copied into a directory called /Applications/MNPlight.app/, because later, I hope to provide a PXL for it. Option file should be in /var/root/Library/MNPlight/mnplight.ini

    * There is a small web interface, so the program will run in the background when started
You can access the web interface from http://127.0.0.1:2007/ (you should bookmark it)

    * You can now also export the calendar

    * The web interface is supposed to replace all the command line options, but some are still missing (adding or removing a playlist), while some other are new (editing a playlist).

    * You can download and update MNPlight automatically

    TODO:
    * Create a launcher (it would start the program if not yet running, and then launch safari on the web interface)
    * Handle Repeating events in calendar
    * Move playlists to and from On-the-go from the web interface

    DOWNLOAD:
    http://movenplay.gforge.inria.fr/

    Enjoy !

Should be fixed in new version 2.06

I also uploaded a tar file for this version, that can be used to install an icon on the iPhone SpringBoard. When used, the icon will just display a blank page for a few seconds, and go back to the SpringBoard, with MNPlight started, so you can go to Safari to open the local web page.

The new version also contains a very simple web file-browser, that can be used to play movies locally without adding them in the iPod.

Could you post your .ics file, where:
    * You remove all the private information (all what is between BEGIN:VEVENT and END:VEVENT, VTODO, etc...)
    * You put back one of the events that appear in the 70s, changing the text to remove your private info

so I can try on my iPhone...
