    it probably means that the SwapTunes feature doesn't work. You can reverse its effects by moving the iTunes_Control file in /var/root/Media to another name, and then renaming the computers/the_name_you_choose to iTunes_Control.

    For debugging the import, i cannot debug without a copy of the files in iTunes_Control/iTunes/: iTunesDB and iTunesDB.orig .

    @olaf: 7.5 is for 1.1.2, 7.4 for 1.0.2, and I don't know for 1.1.1 ...

    Red face

    Release 2.20 just fixes some bugs introduced in 2.19. Group page is immediatly updated, SwapTunes features does not use links anymore, and fixes the problem if you used the previous version.

    If you experience a Playlists bug, send me your /var/root/Media/iTunes_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB (before and after mnplight use) by e-mail (treb@lefessant.net).

    I downloaded 2.19 and now I cant do anything.

    When I click import i get "Untrapped exception Failuser (getfield: no key action_import_songs)"

    When I click create playlets i get "Untrapped exception Failure (getfield: no key new_playlist)"

    Everything else gives me similar errors with a different key name.

    It doesnt create a ITunesDB.orig file so i cant send you that.

    Okay, iTunes is now recognizing the phone again, but I still can't get the iPod to play the original music. I just sent the DB files your way.

    Thanks for all your great work!

    @doomsday123:
    from which version did you upgrade. Looks like you are still running an older version, like 2.17. Try to check on the home page which version it is running. If it is not 2.19, try to restart using the "restart" button, or reboot your iPhone. Maybe something went bad during the upgrade, the web pages seem to be from 2.19, but not the engine...

    @all: thanks for the files, it will help me understand the problem. What kind of iPhone are you running (version, iPhone/iPodTouch) ?

    Default 2008 is Download year !

    New release 2.21 comes with a new feature:
    You can save big mail attachments on the iPhone from MNPlight. You just need to download the mail completely (just read it in MobileMail until it is completely displayed), and then use the "Mails" icon in MNPlight and save the attachments !

    Also a bug fix concerning deletion of mime-types in the options panel.

    - Treb

    PS: don't think I just add features randomly, this new one is just to help me try the iTunesDB files you send me by mail on my iPhone ! But if now, you can use it to exchange your songs between iPhone, it is all the better ;-)

    Hi Treb. I've emailed you the contents of my iTunes folder after doing the following... hope it helps debugging... I'm using an iPod Touch 1.1.2.

    1. Deleted all the files in iTunes folder.
    2. Created a new iTunes 7.4 DB using MNPLight 2.19
    3. Imported one song using MNPLight, it created the the MNPlight playlist containing one song.
    ** I could not see the playlist or the imported song in the iPod app, even after restarting everything.
    4. Went to the iTunes App and purchased one new song.
    ** I can now see the new purchased song in the iPod application, but still not the imported song from MNPlight.
    5. Re-launced the MNPlight application, it still sees the MNPLight playlist and the song it imported *BUT* does not see the purchased iTunes song..

    Going back in to the iPod application it still only sees the Purchased playlist and purchased song.

    Cheers!!
