could somebody explain to me how to configure the wifi on my iphone? because i've been searching in the web and there's nothing about it so, please somebody help me, i'm a desperate mexican under pressure (LOL), and if someone can tell me how to install the wifi installer (the installer where you get different apps like the nes stuff and other things from the wifi) please! i beg you dear readers, i'm a total noob in this kind of bussinnes so please explain it in a very simple way.

If its firmware is 1.1.1, you have to jailbreak it by going to jailbreakme.com with your iPhone's Safari and install appsnap.

Search the forum for Jailbreak.

if it's 1.1.2 already, where do i find installer.app to put it on my iPhone with iNdependence? just can't find it, the tiff exploit isn't working anymore.

just found the answer by myself :p on the FAQ of iNdependence:

For everybody who want to INSTALL APPTAPP AS A STANDALONE APP, here is what you have to do: - have your phne activated and jailbroken - install SSH - download apptapp installer from their webiste (it is the old one, version 3.1) - then right click on apptapp > show package contents > resources > and there you have the "installer.app" - install it via Independence in your User folder - reboot - there you have it!

You could also use an FTP Client and login to the iPhone as "root" in the username and "alpine" as the password (for 1.1.2) and upload the Installer.app folder into the Applications directory on the iPhone!

Installer.app is no longer supported and simply does not work on newer iOS versions like 3.0 and 4.0

Even if you could get installer.app to load on 3.0 the software available via installer.app will either not work or crash your iPhone as it is designed for OS 1.x or 2.x
